Our 14-Day Return Policy

We offer a 14-day return policy to ensure your shopping experience is as straightforward and satisfactory as possible. You have 14 days from the day you receive your item to initiate a return if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase.

Conditions for Returns

We are unable to accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Opened Plastic bag seal: The original plastic bag with a seal has been opened or is missing. This is only a rule for bags with a sticker seal.

  • Worn or Washed: Items have been worn, washed, or show signs of use.

  • Altered Items: Items have been altered or customized.

  • Odors: Items have strong odors such as perfume, smoke, or body odor.

  • Incomplete Returns: Items are returned without all original packaging, accessories, or gifts included in the purchase.

  • Past Return Period: Items are returned outside the specified return period.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Items marked as final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase.

  • Hygiene Products: Items such as undergarments, swimwear, or other personal use items where the hygiene seal has been broken.

  • Incorrect Items: Items do not match the original purchase order.

  • Excessive Wear and Tear: Items show excessive wear and tear beyond normal use.

  • Incomplete Documentation: Returns without a completed return form or without a valid receipt/proof of purchase.

  • Misuse of Product: Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper care.


Additional Conditions:

  • Refunds may be issued in the form of a gift card instead of cash refunds, depending on the return situation, subject to the customer's approval.

  • In case of minor damages such as small stains or loose threads that can easily be removed or repaired (e.g., by washing the product), we reserve the right to deduct a percentage of the refund instead of processing a full refund.

  • Compensation may be offered in the form of a discount or refund equivalent to the extent of the damage, at Hijab Kompaniet’s discretion.

Recommendations:

  • Always check your garment for any stains or production faults before removing the hangtag. Once the hangtag is removed, no claims can be made.

  • Please note that items returned without fulfilling these conditions or without initiating a return request will not be accepted.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Fill Out the Return Form: Please fill out our Return Form at the end of this page. Ensure to include your order number and reason for return.

  2. Prepare Your Return Package: Carefully package the items you’re returning, along with the packing slip included in your original shipment. This helps us process your return efficiently.

  3. Ship Your Return: Create your own shipping label with a carrier of your choice.

Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item received was incorrect or damaged.

Receive Your Refund

Once we receive your return, it will go through quality control, which can take up to 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days and returned to your original payment method. Refunds may also be issued as store credit (gift card), depending on the case.
Please note that your bank may take additional time to post the refund. We commit to issuing refunds within 14 days of processing the return. If you don’t receive your refund within 15 business days, contact us at hijabkompaniet@gmail.com.

Damages and Issues

Upon receiving your order, please inspect the items immediately. If you find any defects, damage, or if you’ve received the wrong item, contact us right away. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and ensuring your satisfaction.

Exchanges

For the quickest service, we recommend returning the item you have and placing a separate order for the new item once your return is accepted.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 24 hours of placing it. After 24 hours, your order will already be in processing and no changes or cancellations can be made. You will need to receive the package and then initiate a return according to our standard return procedure.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Customers in the European Union have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, in addition to our regular return policy.

Unclaimed Orders

If a package is not picked up and is returned to us:

  • It will not be considered a valid return, and we reserve the right to refuse a refund, including the original shipping cost.

  • The customer will be charged a fee issued by the shipping carrier. This fee can range from €20 up to €80, depending on how far the package has traveled.

  • This fee is a real invoice we as a company must pay, and it will be passed on to the customer.

  • If the customer does not pay the invoice within 14 days or the agreed deadline:

  • We reserve the right to keep both the product and the payment.

  • The customer will receive a debt collection claim (inkasso).

  • The customer will be blocked from making any future purchases and added to our internal system.

  • If the customer places a new order under a different name or details, legal action may be taken.

Additional Information on Returns & Exchanges

  • Return Period: You have 14 calendar days from receiving your parcel to initiate a return.

  • Return Form: Use the form available (Return Form) for your return request.

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returned items.

  • Product Condition: Items must be returned clean, unworn, and in their original condition, including all labels and packaging.

  • Proof of Shipment: Keep your shipment’s tracking code as proof; we require it for any investigation into missing returns.

Acceptance of Terms

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy, including but not limited to:

  • Responsibility for shipping costs on returns.

  • The right of Hijab Kompaniet to issue refunds as store credit (gift card) or partial refunds based on the condition of returned items.

  • The obligation to pay any applicable fees for unclaimed packages, including additional fees invoiced by shipping carriers.

  • The conditions for debt collection actions in cases of unpaid fees.

  • The 24-hour cancellation policy for placed orders.

  • Agreement to be registered in our internal system in case of severe policy violations.
